Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is Florida’s free prekindergarten program for 4-year-olds residing in Florida. VPK gives children a jump start by preparing them for school and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language, and social skills. Children who complete a quality VPK program arrive at kindergarten better prepared than those who do not attend a prekindergarten program.
Enrolling your child in our Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program (VPK) sets the stage for lifelong learning and development. Our VPK program is designed to offer a balanced mix of educational activities that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. With a curriculum tailored to meet the developmental needs of 4-year-olds, our program helps children build essential skills, such as language and literacy, early math, and social skills, in a fun and engaging environment. By focusing on the foundational aspects of learning, we ensure that each child enters kindergarten ready to succeed, confident in their abilities, and excited about the world of education.
At our VPK program, each day is filled with opportunities for exploration, discovery, and joy. From interactive storytelling sessions that enhance vocabulary and comprehension to hands-on math activities that introduce basic concepts, our approach is centered around learning through play. Our experienced educators create a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to ask questions, express themselves creatively, and build relationships with their peers. We emphasize a holistic approach that integrates cognitive skills with motor development and emotional well-being, ensuring that children not only learn but also thrive. By the end of the program, your child will be well-prepared to transition to kindergarten with confidence and enthusiasm.
Here at BBO we want our students to be elated about attending school and even more excited about learning.
