Cook

Job description BBO Preschool is currently looking to hire a full-time cook to prepare and serve food for about 70-90 children Monday-Friday.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate food inventories
Properly store food items
Refrigerator and stove must be kept clean daily
Ensure that the food prep area, kitchen and cafeteria are cleaned and sanitized during and at the end of your shift
Batch cook as needed as per scheduled classroom lunch times
Maintain communication with teachers and management
Observe and accommodate specific food allergies
Must be able to pass a DCF level 2 background screening
Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
Serve Safe Certification (preferred)
Able to work as part of a team and in a timely manner
First Aid/CPR Preferred but not required
